Emma Russell joined Munich Re Syndicate in October 2010 as the War and Hull Underwriter and is now Group Head of War and Hull. Emma previously worked as a Broker in the Lloyds market for 29 years, having been an Executive Director at Willis for seven years and Head of their Marine Broking Team and a Partner at Jardine Lloyd Thompson for just over five years.  She started her career with Seascope having obtained her degree in PPE. Emma was appointed as the Chair of the Joint Hull Aviation War Committee in 2021 and has been a member of the Joint Hull Marine War Committee since 2016.
