Kunbi Sowunmi is a Senior Claims Advisor with Gard P&I Club.  He joined Gard in 2011 and works in the Traders Team advising its Charterer Trader members. He is an experienced International Trade and Shipping lawyer having advised for 20+ years on trading (soft and hard commodities) and shipping matters both contentious and non – contentious. He is a UK qualified Solicitor and holds a Master’s degree in Shipping and Commercial Law from The London School of Economics & Political Science. He has worked in the private practice in U.K and in Industry in the Netherlands and the UK and the U.S.
